Smartform Racing Database
The Smartform Racing Database is a fully programmable horseracing form database which runs on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux systems. Daily racecards and historic results for UK and Irish racing are updated automatically before racing each day. All the data elements are described in the tables and field layout.
The database can be used to research, program and automate any task you can think of that requires horseracing data, such as:
- Creating winning methods and systems
- Backtesting for profitability

- Creating speed and handicap ratings

20 years’ historic data for research and analysis, updated daily
The Smartform Racing Database comes with over 20 years’ horseracing results data (from Jan 1 2003, with the addition of all advance racecards from 200 onwards) for all UK and Irish horse races, under both Flat and NH codes. All the data is licenced from original sources for the personal use of Betwise members.
On subscribing, twenty years’ worth of full racing results, (and the last 15 years' daily racecards from our updates service), containing all UK and Irish racing, are within the Form download and available for use in MySQL. Full documentation and support for setting up the database is included within each subscription.
The database also includes a free first month subscription for first time purchasers (with no commitment required thereafter) so that new subscribers can benefit immediately from the full daily results and racecards service (described below) without additional costs.
Daily results and racecards
The update service contains the day’s full results for horseracing in the UK and Ireland under both National Hunt and Flat codes, as well as final racecards (available from 7.30 pm every evening) for the next day’s racing. The results update builds automatically on the existing database and ensures the SmartForm database is always current for the next day’s racing.
The updates service enables you to run selection systems and ratings models against daily data, to produce reports or for backing, laying and betting automation.
